If you’re wondering what we’ve been up to and why we haven’t released anything in about 2 months, you’ll be unhappy to hear we’ve made almost zero progress with the translation since the prologue of Kizumonogatari.

First, HTH (our translator) went off home, taking the raws with him, and, as our luck would have it, he didn’t have internet there (still doesn’t). We’ve managed to get a few updates from him, and he says he’s done translating chapters 1 to something.

Secondly, another staff member (Otohane) also vanished for Christmas/New Year’s/until the end of time, and, apparently, Harry managed to send us the translated scripts via him- only he didn’t get them. Good ol’ reliable internet. So we’ve been stuck counting. Please don’t ask what.

In other news (better news, we hope),  after about a year or two of no updates at all of the first novel from Baka-Tsuki, on my request, HTH’s taken up starting to translate To Aru Majutsu No Index (A Certain Magical Index). Those of you who have seen the anime or read the manga will probably recognise Kamijou Touma, seen below bravely facing off against a gang of street thugs.

Our heroic protagonist bravely faces off a gang of street thugs harassing a girl... and then proceeds to run away.

So, if you want something new, and pretty awesome, check out out our newest translation… Whenever HTH gets back from Timbuktu, or whatever.
